Rande McCrary
A resident of North Central Missouri, Rande has been involved in Emergency Medical Services in Missouri for over 30 years. He has served as an EMT, a Paramedic, EMS Instructor and a volunteer Fire Fighter. He spent fourteen years with the Missouri Department of Health, Bureau of Emergency Medical Services as a Prehospital Systems Specialist. Rande is currently working as a Paramedic with the Atchison/Holt Ambulance District in Mound City, Missouri.
Rande has been very active in the Missouri Emergency Medical Services Association (MEMSA) since 1987 and has held various offices over the years including Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. In 2003 MEMSA awarded him the Presidential Leadership Award for his tireless efforts in promoting EMS in Missouri.
Since 2001 Rande has been the Missouri Regional Coordinator of NEMSMS and mounted a campaign to bring the Memorial site to Missouri when it was announced the Roanoke site would close. Although his state was not chosen, Rande remains dedicated to promoting the Memorial Service.
New to the Board, he is looking forward to meeting the challenges of helping relocate the Memorial Service to Colorado Springs. He is proud to be involved with honoring those that have made "the ultimate sacrifice."
