Kevin M. Agard

Agard has over 30 years experience in various EMS, Rescue and Emergency Management systems, where he has held positions as an EMT, Paramedic, Rescue Captain, and EMS Educator/Coordinator.

In his 5th term on the National EMS Memorial Service Board of Directors, Agard was elected as the organization's Vice President in 2010 . He also serves as the Service's Public Information Officer, webmaster, and currently chairs the National Moment of Silence project. He also served as chair of the Site Selection Committee which eventually saw the move of the Memorial Service and the National EMS Memorial to Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Previously, Kevin has served 7 terms as a member of the Board of Governors of the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians, terms as Chair and Vice Chair of the National Paramedic Society, as President of his State's EMS Association, and 2 terms on the Board of Directors of the Julian Stanley Wise Foundation. He is a 2 time recipient of NAEMT's Presidential Leadersip Award.

Agard is the President/CEO of Emergency Medical Training Associates, a NJ based EMS training and consulting firm. He resides in Carlstadt, New Jersey, with his wife and teenage son.
