National EMS Memorial Service Updates 2009 Honoree Listing


Oilville, Virginia - At the request of the families involved, in conjunction with the nominators, the National EMS Memorial Service today announced the removal of 2 individuals from the 2009 National EMS Memorial Service. This reduces to 89 the number of individuals to be honored at this year's Service to be held Saturday, May 23 in Roanoke, Virginia.

 

The individuals involved are Dan M. Hunter of Hunter Ambulance Service, Inc., Meriden, CT and Gregory Serena of New York City Fire Department, Brooklyn, NY. Both Mr. Hunter and Mr. Serena may be included in a future National EMS Memorial Service.

 

The attached updated listing incorporates these changes as well as correcting some additional typos and misspellings.
