Rande McCrary elected to National EMS Memorial Service Board

Oilville, Virginia - At the annual meeting of the National EMS Memorial Service Missouri’s Rande McCrary was elected to the Service’s Board of Directors.

A resident of North Central Missouri, McCrary has been involved in Emergency Medical Services in Missouri for over 30 years. He has served as an EMT, a Paramedic, EMS Instructor and a volunteer Fire Fighter. He spent fourteen years with the Missouri Department of Health, Bureau of Emergency Medical Services as a Prehospital Systems Specialist. Rande is currently working as a Paramedic with the Atchison/Holt Ambulance District in Mound City, Missouri.

McCrary has been active in the Missouri Emergency Medical Services Association (MEMSA) since 1987 and has held various offices over the years including Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. In 2003 MEMSA awarded him the Presidential Leadership Award for his tireless efforts in promoting EMS in Missouri.

McCrary has been a long time supporter of the National EMS Memorial Service and has, since 2001, been the NEMSMS Regional Coordinator for the state of Missouri.

NEMSMS Board members Kevin Dillard, Kevin Agard and Jean Venner were also re-elected to new 3 year terms at the same meeting.
